Working from home introduces a whole host of obstacles for professionals used to office life. I have worked from home for about 2 and a half years now, and I have FINALLY reached a point where I have a comfortable and productive workspace.

Here are 7 things I keep in my space. Maybe you will get inspired and add some to yours.

1. Monitor Stand

If you have a small desk, investing in a monitor stand with extra storage space can make a huge difference in your organization. I got mine from Ikea.

My monitor being higher helps my posture. I am able to sit up straight when working. I used to get neck pain from the angle I sat at to see my screen.

In the drawer, I keep sticky notes, gum, extra pens, white-out, a nail file, and many other things that would normally be cluttering up my desk.

Under the drawer, there is extra space where I keep my planner and journal. I find that being able to slide everything under my monitor to clear up my space helps me be more productive.
