Aperture, Shutter Speed, and ISO Explained
Photography is one of my favorite art forms. There is something so beautiful about being able to capture the world as you see it, and allowing others to see through your eyes.
When I got my first DSLR camera, to say I was overwhelmed would be an understatement. I tried to learn all of the settings, but each photoshoot I did, I would just switch over to auto focus, and let the camera make all the decisions for me.
I have searched the internet for videos, blog posts, and any other learning materials to help me understand. I can finally say that I have conquered my biggest obstacle when it comes to photography, and I did that by simply messing around.
If you are a hands-on learner, like me, it is difficult understand these types of concepts without putting them into practice.
Today, I want to explain these settings in my own words, so that maybe another DSLR beginner out there can gain an understanding of Aperture, Shutter Speed, and ISO faster than I did!
Disclaimer: The images and settings that I will be referring to are on my Canon Rebel T6i. Some of these settings might work differently on other cameras.
