Creating Content with AI is Cheating

I have been absolutely intrigued by the surge in AI over the last few months. We are truly breaking through to the next era of technology. Everything is changing.
But is the use of AI ethical? What does it mean for the artists, the students, the media, and the masses? How will we know what is real and what isn’t? I don’t have all the answers, but I can give you my barely-informed two cents.
Adobe Express Beta
Not including the earlier waves of AI like Siri, Alexa, etc., my first experience messing around with AI has been the new beta version of Adobe Express. Adobe’s new AI feature allows you to create images from text. Here is an example of a prompt I tried out:
You can also select what style you want the image to be. The example above was set to the “art style.” Below, I changed the style to “graphic” and then to “photo.” (Let’s ignore the creepy legs in the first “photo” option).
