Thinking About Getting Invisalign?
Here is my Experience.
When I began this journey, I turned to YouTube to see other people’s experiences with Invisalign. Everyone I watched was super helpful, so I decided to share my own experience, that way if someone decides to research as I did, maybe this will help them make a decision.
Backstory
When I was 15, I got braces put on, but I only had them for about six months. When I had them taken off, I didn’t get a retainer, so my teeth shifted back to the gaps that you see here. I have always been so self-conscious about my teeth. And as soon as my teeth started moving back, I wanted to get the braces back on. However, I did not have insurance, so I didn’t even get to go to my regular dentist visits.
A few years ago, I finally got my own insurance through my employer. I started going to the dentist again so that I could prepare my mouth for braces or Invisalign. They found some cavities, and we took a year to spread out my fillings, but finally got it all taken care of. My dentist that I was seeing did not do Invisalign at all, but he knew that was my goal.
